Ramadan is a sacred time for Muslims, not just here in Niger, but around the world. Here is a photo of the mosque near my home in Fair fax, Virginia, where an estimated 50,000 Muslims live, work and raise their families.
As the holy month of Ramadan begins, we extend our best wishes to our Muslim friends in Niger and everywhere.
