On April 23 Ambassador Eunice Reddick donated more than 1000 Scholastic books to Knowledge Haské School , a bilingual (French- and English) primary school in Niamey to help newly created schools which are introducing English at the same time as French at the primary level. The books will help equip the school with English materials that are difficult to purchase locally. The activity was carried out to support English language education in Niger, one of the priority goals of the US Embassy/Public Affairs Section.
