Celebrate Independence Day
The U.S. Embassy in Niamey would like to invite you to celebrate Independence Day with a day of water games and Potluck BBQ! Please join us on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 15:00 until 19:00 at the Ambassador’s residence, on the Rue des Ambassades (across from the Embassy). Please bring a side dish to share. To purchase tickets please email ChambersJR@state.gov before 16:00 on June 29, 2016. For those participating in the teamed water games 15,000 cfa for a four person team. The ticket will also include your main dish, condiments, and drink. For those who do not want to play in the games general admission is 3,000cfa and discounted tickets for children ages 3 to 6 years old will be 1,500cfa. Admission is free for children two years of age and younger. Tickets will not be available at the door.
If you wish to attend, you must RSVP to ChambersJR@state.gov by 16:00 on June 29, 2016. Each guest must RSVP and present a photo ID to be granted entry. There will be no exceptions. Non-U.S. citizen family members and guests are welcome to attend. All visitors and bags are subject to screening by security staff before entry.
