CALL FOR APPLICATIONS YALI REGIONAL LEADERSHIP CENTER DAKAR (RLC)
ABOUT THE YALI DAKAR RLC
With the support of USAID and the MasterCard Foundation, the African Center for Advanced Management Studies (CESAG) and its partners have established the Regional Leadership Center (RLC), which provides future leaders from 16 African countries with the skills, resources and opportunities to fulfill their dreams, and thereby work towards a brighter and more prosperous future for the continent. The YALI DAKAR RLC, located within CESAG, provides two types of training:
- The hybrid/residential training
Which takes place over 5 weeks including 2 weeks of online training, and a 1-week break followed by 3 weeks of intense training in the RLC in Dakar;
- The online training
This conducted over 8 weeks, entirely online. The online training is flexible because it allows you to pick your own schedule but you are tutored and guided throughout the entire duration of the training. Candidates can follow one of the following 3 programs: business and entrepreneurship, civic leadership or public management. Applications from leaders with disabilities, from rural areas and young women are strongly encouraged! NB: You are not eligible if you have already received training at the YALI DAKAR RLC (online, residential or hybrid) or at the Mandela Washington Fellowship).
Applications for the YALI DAKAR Regional Leadership Center’s residential and online cohorts will start this October 2019, according to the table below.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS COHORT 1 POWER AFRICALEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR YOUNG WOMEN IN THE ENERGY SECTOR IN AFRICA

Then, apply now to the Power Africa’s program, at the YALI DAKAR Regional Leadership Center, to benefit from a professional training targeting young women leaders within the energy ecosystem.
Power Africa is a U.S. government-led partnership coordinated by USAID that aims to double access to electricity in sub-Saharan Africa by 2030. This year, Power Africa joins the YALI DAKAR RLC in supporting the career development of a new generation of women leaders in the sector. The training will focus on basic leadership skills as well as entrepreneurship and public management in the energy sector.
