On October 27, Major Kite Faulkner gave a presentation for large audience of cadets and school staff at the Prytannee Military School.   The Prytannee Military School has the reputation for being one of the most academically rigorous schools in Niger and attracts students from nine different African nations.  Administrators invited a representative of the United States military to speak to students because of the cadets’ strong interest in the subject.  Major Faulkner’s presentation was based on the two most popular questions from cadets:  how the U.S. military ranking system works and the rational for having different branches of armed forces such as the Navy and the Army.  The cadets were an engaged audience and spontaneously roared with applause when Major Faulkner mentioned the cooperation between the militaries of the United States and Niger.
